Terms & Conditions

The agreement between you and LocumLink when you access or use our platform. Please read these terms carefully.

Last updated: July 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to LocumLink ("LocumLink", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LocumLink platform, including our website, mobile applications, and related services that connect verified doctors with hospitals and healthcare facilities across India (collectively, the "Services").

By registering for an account or otherwise accessing the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally permitted to practise or operate in India. Doctors must hold a valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the applicable State Medical Council. Hospitals must be registered entities operating licensed healthcare facilities.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

4. Doctor Responsibilities

Doctors agree to arrive on time, carry valid registration and identity documents, perform duties consistent with their declared qualifications, and comply with the host facility’s clinical protocols. Doctors must honour accepted shifts unless a documented emergency prevents attendance.

5. Hospital Responsibilities

Hospitals agree to provide accurate shift descriptions, a safe and compliant working environment, and access to the information a doctor reasonably requires to perform the assignment. Hospitals must honour accepted bookings and process any applicable compensation in line with the agreed terms.

6. Verification

All doctors and hospitals must complete identity and credential verification before accessing live shifts. Verification is a prerequisite, not a guarantee, of engagement. We may suspend or reject access where documents are incomplete, inconsistent, or fail our checks.

7. Shift Booking

Shifts are offered by hospitals and accepted by doctors through the platform. An acceptance creates a direct arrangement between the doctor and the hospital; LocumLink is a facilitator and is not a party to that arrangement unless expressly stated.

8. Cancellations

Cancellation of an accepted shift should be made as early as possible through the platform. Repeated or last-minute cancellations may affect your standing, verification status, or future access to shifts. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.

9. Payments

LocumLink is preparing an integrated payment facility. Until it is enabled, compensation arrangements are agreed directly between the doctor and the hospital. Once launched, payment processing will be governed by additional terms presented at that time.

10. Intellectual Property

All software, content, trademarks, and design elements of the Services are owned by LocumLink or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Services without prior written permission.

11. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please review it before using the Services.

12. Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, engage in unsafe or unlawful conduct, or whose verification lapses. Where feasible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy.

13. Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocumLink shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including any dispute between a doctor and a hospital.

Important

LocumLink facilitates connections between doctors and hospitals but is not a party to the clinical engagement itself. Responsibility for the assignment rests with the doctor and the hospital.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

15. Contact
